Every year we say it: This is the year we’re fully staffed, fully compliant, and ready to crush it.So why not make this the year it actually happens?
With more than 25 years of combined staffing experience, here are a few strategies we consistently see make a difference for districts:
Think creatively and be open to brainstorming. Staffing challenges rarely have one perfect solution. Being willing to talk through options with experienced staffing professionals can uncover approaches you may not have considered before.
Don’t be afraid to explore something new. Considering a new staffing model doesn’t mean you’re committing to it long-term. Sometimes a short-term or supplemental solution is exactly what’s needed to stay compliant and support your team.
Plan early—even if plans change. Early planning creates flexibility. Last-minute staffing almost never works in anyone’s favor, while proactive planning allows room to adjust as needs evolve.
We encourage districts to consider contract therapists—both in-person and teletherapists—not only for full-time vacancies but also for short-term leaves, high-caseload support, and ongoing assessments. We also offer on-demand assessments (in English and bilingual), providing teams with extra support when timelines are tight.
Our goal is to support your in-person staff in the ways that help them most—whether that’s therapy, evaluations, screenings, or a combination.
Let’s do it. Let’s plan early, stay supported, and set ourselves up to be fully staffed and fully compliant—so we can truly crush 2026.
